12 cup coffee makers:

Krups KM8105 12-Cup Die-Cast Programmable Coffeemaker - has a 1100-watt heating system and is made of double cast metal. It has a 12-cup glass carafe and features front loading and a removeable brew basket. It comes with a large LCD screen and auto on and off features. 1-year limited warranty

Our review of this model - Although it looks very modern it has some basic design problems. It tends to spill when you pour so be very careful if you decide to get this model. We were very dissapointed with this model and with the lack of customer suppor.

10 cup coffee makers:

Krups 10-Cup Thermal Coffee Maker FMF5 - Fully programmable with a LCD screen,built-in water filter and a no-drip spout.

Our review: This was a much better choice. The design seems to have much fewer flaws and the coffee tastes better than their 12 cup model. It was fairly easy to use as well which is always a perk.

Krups KM7000 Grind-and-Brew 10-Cup Coffeemaker - 5 grind levels and 3 coffee strengths. Offers settings for 2-, 4-, 6-, 8- or 10 cups. Auto shut off feature as well as the option of brewing 2 or 4 cups instead of the maximum.

Our review: This is our favorite of all the Krups coffee makers.  It is easy to use, is a lot quieter than expected and brews a really good cup of coffee. It is almost as if the coffee maker is smart enough to tell how much coffee needs to be ground depending on how many cups you select. It is pretty amazing. What else could you ask for?

All of these coffee makers carry a one year warranty from the manufacturer so make sure to keep your receipt. Let's face it. The coffee maker is one of the most used appliances in the house. Krups coffee makers can break down and it is nice to know that the manufacturer will take responsibility for it if it happens within a year from purchase.
